Taxonomy
Eomyelodactylus was named by Foerste (1919) [Sepkoski's age data: S Ldov-l S Ldov-u]. It is not extant. Its type is Myelodactylus rotundatus.

It was assigned to Disparida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Myelodactylidae by Webster (2006) and Ausich and Copper (2010).
