Barremites primitivus

Taxonomy
Barremites primitivus was named by Cecca et al. (1998). Its type specimen is Museum of Cagli RS 2, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Series RS, Stirpeto, which is in a Hauterivian offshore lime mudstone in the Maiolica Formation of Italy.
