Atokacrinus was named by Knapp (1969) [Sepkoski's age data: C Mosc-l C Mosc-u]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Paradelocrinidae by Moore and Strimple (1973) and Ubaghs et al. (1978); and to Cladida by Sepkoski (2002).
