Phyllocladidites elongatus was named by Zamaloa and Romero (2005) [Type locality. Tapera Sur Dell, northeast of Tierra del Fuego. Dimensions. Total breadth 43 (52) 62 um]. It is not extant. It is considered to be a form taxon.
