Taxonomy
Dolichosoma emersoni was named by Huxley and Wright (1867). Its type specimen is At TCD museum, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jarrow Colliery, which is in a Westphalian A terrestrial coal in Ireland.
