Eobaphetes kansensis
Taxonomy
Eobaphetes kansensis was named by Moodie (1911). Its type specimen is U.S.N.M. 6699, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Baldwin Coal, Washington Co., which is in a Namurian/Westphalian terrestrial shale/siltstone in the Bloyd Formation of Arkansas. It is the type species of Eobaphetes.
