Pteroplax cornutus

Taxonomy
Pteroplax cornuta was named by Hancock and Atthey (1868). Its type specimen is H.M.G. 15.72, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hannah Pit, Newsham, which is in a Bashkirian terrestrial coal in the Middle Coal Measures Formation of the United Kingdom.

It was corrected as Pteroplax cornutus by Boyd (1980).
