Cadocrinus was named by Wanner (1924) [Sepkoski's age data: P Guad-u]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Cladida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Cadocrinidae by Ubaghs et al. (1978) and Webster and Webster (2012).
