Taxonomy
Lemuroceras talkeetnanum was named by Imlay (1960). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Mesozoic 24877, Billy Creek, which is in an Albian marginal marine horizon in the Matanuska Formation of Alaska.

It was recombined as Arcthoplites talkeetnanus by Jones (1967); it was recombined as Arcthoplites (Subarcthoplites) talkeetnanus by Alabushev (1995).
