Taxonomy
Septaliphoria kowalevskii was named by Makridin (1964). Its type specimen is KhGU 196/124, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kamenka, Izyum district, which is in an Oxfordian carbonate limestone in the Izyum Formation of Ukraine.
