Taxonomy
Decadocrinus was named by Wachsmuth and Springer (1879) [Sepkoski's age data: D Give C Vise-u]. It is not extant. It is the type genus of Decadocrinidae.

It was assigned to Poteriocrinidae by Laudon (1936); to Decadocrinidae by Ubaghs et al. (1978); and to Cladida by Sepkoski (2002).
