Delocrinus was named by Miller and Gurley (1890) [Sepkoski's age data: C Mosc-u P Guad-u]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Erisocrinidae by Washburn (1968); to Cladida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Catacrinidae by Pabian and Strimple (1974) and Webster and Webster (2012).
