Dicromyocrinus was named by Jaekel (1918) [Sepkoski's age data: C Serp-l C Step-u Sepkoski's reference number: 257]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Cladida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Cromyocrinidae by Webster et al. (2009).
