Endelocrinus was named by Moore and Plummer (1940) [Sepkoski's age data: C Bash-u P Sakm]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Catacrinidae by Moore and Strimple (1973); to Paradelocrinidae by Pabian and Strimple (1974); and to Cladida by Sepkoski (2002).
