Rectithyris ciplyensis
Taxonomy
Terebratula ciplyensis was named by Von Hanstein (1879). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ciply (University of Bonn), which is in a Maastrichtian carbonate chalk in the Ciply-Malogne Phosphatic Chalk Formation of Belgium.
It was recombined as Rectithyris ciplyensis by Simon (1998).
