Maastrichtiella costellata
Taxonomy
Maastrichtiella costellata was named by Simon (2005). Its type specimen is IRScNB-MI 11002, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pesaken (Bosquet collection), which is in a Maastrichtian carbonate chalk in the Gulpen Formation of the Netherlands. It is the type species of Maastrichtiella.
