Proharrymys fedti
Taxonomy
Proheteromys fedti was named by Macdonald (1963). Its type specimen is SDSM 56121, a mandible (right ramus with incisor and p4-m3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sharps (SDSM V-5354), which is in a Geringian terrestrial horizon in the Sharps Formation of South Dakota.
It was recombined as Proharrymys fedti by Korth and Branciforte (2007).
