Taxonomy
Gorgheiceras tuberculatum was named by Rakús and Guex (2002). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Djebel Zaghouan, Mines of Djebel Staa, bed 5, which is in an Ibex open shallow subtidal limestone in the Oust Formation of Tunisia.
