Neozeacrinus was named by Wanner (1937) [Sepkoski's age data: C Mosc-u P Guad-u]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Cladida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Zeacrinitidae by Ubaghs et al. (1978) and Webster (2006).
