Taxonomy
Boesites eotexanus was named by Wagner-Gentis (1971). Its type specimen is RGM-ST 167605, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 1890, Casavegas-Caloca road, which is in a Myachkovian marine mudstone in Spain.
