Sceptaspis lincolnensis

Taxonomy
Pterygometopus lincolnensis was named by Branson (1909). It is not extant. Its type specimen is UC 11484c, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Residuary Auburn Chert Beds, east of Auburn , which is in a Turinian carbonate claystone in the Decorah Formation of Missouri.

It was recombined as Calyptaulax lincolnensis by Delo (1940); it was recombined as Sceptaspis lincolnensis by Ludvigsen and Chatterton (1982).
