Taxonomy
Cymaclymenia formosa was named by Korn (2014). Its type specimen is MfN MB.C.22609.1, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bordj d'Erfoud, bed 49-50, which is in a Famennian marine shale in Morocco.
