Taxonomy
Cymaclymenia involvens was named by Lange (1929). Its type specimen is MfN MB.C.3695, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Burg, Borkewehr, near Wocklum (Lange collection), which is in a Famennian marine horizon in Germany.
