Taxonomy
Paradelocrinus was named by Moore and Plummer (1937) [Sepkoski's age data: C Step-l Sepkoski's age data: C Bash C Step-l]. It is not extant. Its type is Paradelocrinus protensus. It is the type genus of Paradelocrinidae.

It was corrected as Neocatacrinus by Webster and Donovan (2015).

It was assigned to Cladida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Paradelocrinidae by Ubaghs et al. (1978) and Webster and Donovan (2015).
