Taxonomy
Platyclymenia ibnsinai was named by Korn (1999). Its type specimen is GPIT 1850-8, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Southwest of Oum El Hadj, which is in a Famennian marine horizon in Morocco.
