Taxonomy
Foordites veniens was named by Chlupac and Turek (1983). Its type specimen is CGS ICh5438, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Praha-Hlubocepy (Chotec limestone), which is in an Eifelian carbonate limestone in the Chotec Formation of the Czech Republic.
