Pentaramicrinus was named by Sutton and Winkler (1940) [Sepkoski's age data: C Vise-u C Serp-l]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Phanocrinidae by Ubaghs et al. (1978); and to Cladida by Sepkoski (2002).
