Taxonomy
Crassatella subregularis was named by Douvillé (1916). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gebel Lagama (Aptian), which is in an Aptian carbonate limestone in Egypt.

It was recombined as Crassatella (Landinia) subregularis by El-Shazly (2012).
