Eoschistoceras strawnense

Taxonomy
Paraschistoceras strawnense was named by Plummer and Scott (1937). Its type specimen is B.E.G. P-7557 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is B.E.G. 181-T-59 (P-9), Mineral Wells-Palo Pinto highway, which is in a Kasimovian marine shale in the Mineral Wells Formation of Texas.

It was recombined as Eoschistoceras strawnense by Work and Mapes (2009).
