Gyroceratites circularis
Taxonomy
Gyroceras circulare was named by Barrande (1865). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is East of Chotec, near Kalinuv mlyn farm, which is in an Emsian carbonate limestone in the Zlichov Formation of the Czech Republic.
It was recombined as Gyroceratites circularis by Chlupac and Turek (1983) and Korn and Klug (2002).
