Trimanticoceras cinctum

Taxonomy
Manticoceras cinctum was named by Glenister (1958). Its type specimen is CPC 1736, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is BMR RS 190, Bugle Gap, which is in a Frasnian marine horizon in the Virgin Hills Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Trimanticoceras.

It was recombined as Trimanticoceras cinctum by Korn and Klug (2002).
