Amoenophyllites amoenus

Taxonomy
Goniatites amoenus was named by Barrande (1865). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Praha-Hlubocepy (upper Trebotov limestone, Dalejan), which is in an Emsian carbonate limestone in the Trebotov Formation of the Czech Republic. It is the type species of Amoenophyllites.

It was recombined as Amoenophyllites amoenus by Chlupac and Turek (1983) and Korn and Klug (2002).
