Ligeiceras fourneti

Taxonomy
Nautilus fourneti was named by Dumortier (1874). Its type specimen is ML 9177, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is La Verpillière (Isère, Upper Toarcian), which is in a Toarcian carbonate limestone in France.

It was recombined as Cenoceras fourneti by Kummel (1956) and Rulleau (2008); it was recombined as Ligeiceras fourneti by Barroso-Barcenilla (2011).
