Taxonomy
Digalodon rubidgei was named by Broom and Robinson (1948). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ferndale, Graaff-Reinet (Cistecephalus Assemblage Zone), which is in a Wuchiapingian terrestrial siliciclastic in South Africa.
