Taxonomy
Nautilus schusteri was named by von Loesch (1912). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Le Havre (Berliner Sammlung), which is in a Kimmeridgian carbonate limestone in France.

It was recombined as Paracenoceras schusteri by Kummel (1956).
