Josanautilus lacerdae

Taxonomy
Nautilus lacerdae was named by Vilanova y Piera (1870). Its type specimen is MNCN I-14855, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is La Tejería de Josa (Vilanova collection), which is in an Aptian carbonate limestone in the Margas del Forcall Formation of Spain. It is the type species of Josanautilus.

It was recombined as Carinonautilus lacerdae by Wiedmann (1960); it was recombined as Josanautilus lacerdae by Martínez and Grauges (2006) and Baudouin et al. (2016).
