Newmarracarroceras clarkei

Taxonomy
Ammonites (Dorsetensia) clarkei was named by Crick (1894). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Champion Bay, which is in a Bajocian carbonate limestone in the Newmarracarra Limestone Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Newmarracarroceras.

It was recombined as Fontannesia clarkei by Arkell (1954); it was recombined as Newmarracarroceras clarkei by Hall (1989).
