Zarcasaurus tanyderus
Taxonomy
Zarcasaurus tanyderus was named by Brinkman et al. (1984). Its type specimen is CM 41704, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Valley floor of east Camp Quarry, which is in a Wolfcamp fine channel fill siliciclastic in the Cutler Formation of New Mexico. It is the type species of Zarcasaurus.
