Taxonomy
Nuculina dobergensis was named by Lienenklaus (1891).

It was recombined as Nucinella dobergensis by Schneider (2008).

Synonyms
  • Pleurodon zinndorfi was named by Zilch (1937). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Welschberg, which is in a Rupelian coastal sandstone in the Alzey Formation of Germany.

    It was recombined as Nucinella zinndorfi by Vokes (1956); it was synonymized subjectively with Nucinella dobergensis by Schneider (2008).
