Hoplitoides sandovalensis

Taxonomy
Hoplitoides sandovalensis was named by Cobban and Hook (1980). Its type specimen is USNM 275877, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Mesozoic 15947, Agua Salada Grant, which is in a Turonian marine shale in the Mancos Shale Formation of New Mexico.
