Coilopoceras inflatum
Taxonomy
Coilopoceras inflatum was named by Cobban and Hook (1980). Its type specimen is USNM 275920, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Mesozoic D2055, Cebollita Mesa, Cibola, which is in a Turonian marine shale in the Mancos Shale Formation of New Mexico.
