Taxonomy
Kutchirhynchia idonea was named by Buckman (1917). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Marquise (Cornbrash), which is in a Bathonian carbonate limestone in the Cornbrash Formation of France.
It was recombined as Kallirhynchia idonea by Fischer (1969); it was recombined as Kutchirhynchia morieri idonea by Laurin (1984).
