Taxonomy
Burmirhynchia multiplicata was named by Laurin (1984). Its type specimen is ISTD GD 1541 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Balaives-et-Butz (Middle Bathonian), which is in a Bathonian carbonate chalk in France.
