Taxonomy
Werneroceras uralicum was named by Bogoslovsky (1959). Its type specimen is PIN 1315/323, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bolshaya Elets River, outcrop 24, above Eletskaya village, which is in a Givetian carbonate limestone in the Russian Federation.
