Taxonomy
Koenenites uralensis was named by Bogoslovsky (1969). Its type specimen is PIN 1315/201, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khoroshevka Creek, Gubakha area, which is in a Frasnian carbonate limestone in the Russian Federation.
