Timanoceras ellipsoidale

Taxonomy
Timanoceras ellipsoidale was named by Bogoslovsky (1957). Its type specimen is PIN 1268/4, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vezha-Vozh River, 7.4 km from mouth, which is in a Frasnian carbonate limestone in the Lyaiol Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Timanoceras.
