Taxonomy
Fischericrinus was named by Castellana et al. (1989) [Sepkoski's age data: J Bajo-l. Sepkoski mis-spelled Fischericrinus Castellana, Manni & Nicosia 1989 as "Fishericrinus" in his Genus Compendium]. It is not extant. Its type is Fischericrinus sandrae.

It was assigned to Cyrtocrinida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Eugeniacrinitoidea by Hess and Messing (2011).
