Taxonomy
Chariocrinus was named by Hess (1972) [Sepkoski's age data: J Toar-l J Oxfo Sepkoski's reference number: 864]. It is not extant. Its type is Isocrinus andrae.

It was assigned to Isocrinida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Isocrinidae by Severts-Doreck (1983) and Hunter et al. (2011).
