Taxonomy
Kielcensia ingeniens was named by Becker (2000). Its type specimen is MfN MB.C.2705, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Maïder, UD VI-C/D, which is in a Famennian marine shale in Morocco.
