Acmopyle engelhardti was named by Florin (1940) [Typus: das Original zu Textabb. 3 a (vergl. Berry 1938, Taf. 13, Abb. 1.) - argentinien: Terr. Rio Negro, Río pichileufu.]. It is not extant. It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Typus: Berry 1938; # ref. PBDB 8673 , an axis (leaf axis).
